Has anyone read any of Joseph Lallo's books? Specifically the Jade series and the Deacon series?

Does anyone have any suggestions for books that are very similar in style and time period/fantasy world to these?
Somewhere out there is a world we never knew existed.

Languages never spoken.
Colors that should not be.
Lives never opened.
Eyes that never see.

And then the page is turned, a universe created.

We are gods.
