Has anyone read Otherland? (Tad Williams)
I flew through them all in high school during which I'm fairly sure I didn't talk to another human being for about a month. But since then I have struggled to reread which bothers me because I used to consider it one of my most favourite series but can't really say that anymore considering how tedious I find it to read the first book (after having attempted a reread multiple times over the span of at least five years).
The thing is, I don't feel I've outgrown them or anything like that and still enjoy the genre so I just can't figure out why it's become so difficult...
Has anyone got any suggestions or similar stories? Especially concerning this particular series because I do really want to reread all of them but I just don't want to ruin the magic for myself and am really worried persevering through these feelings might do just that.

Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can't see from the center.

I also very like "Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn". I read "Otherland" too. Tt’s not bad, but I like “Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn” and "The Last King of Osten Ard" much more.dixiewitch1989 wrote: ↑10 Nov 2014, 13:50 I have not read Otherland, but I have read Tad Williams series called "Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn" and it is amazing. I have reread it several times already. The first book is called "The Dragonbone Chair." Other authors you should check out if you like Tad Williams are Richard Lee Byers, Terry Brooks and K.J Taylor.
