The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is one of my favorite books, so I will have to give this one a look. Thanks for the insightful review!

P.S. The sentence in the review that states: "As the heat of a Treaty Ceremony arises, however, Alice must be discrete in how she exposes evidence to prove or disprove the allegations for certain crimes" should use the spelling "discreet," meaning "careful and circumspect," rather than "discrete," which means "individually separate and distinct."

Wow! Talk about a well written review! I just really want to grab the book up right now and read it to better discover the characters and situations for myself! thanks for also taking the time to state the things that you didn't like about the story. An honest review is the best type of review of where you give both the good and the bad.

I love when authors write cohesively and a capturing story. I haven't read too much in the science fiction genre, but your enthusiasm makes me excited! Great review! :)

jcheiser wrote:This sounds very interesting! I once took a lit class that focused on science fiction and horror, and from the description, it sounds similar to the sci fi books we read in that class (though, possibly, with a modern take, considering most of the books we studied had been at least a decade old at the time). It looks like I need to add this to my reading list!

Just downloaded the book. It sounds like a good one.

Excellent review
