Worst and best sifi

Post by bookstorm »

Both books and tv show are fine first name the book/show that you found to be the worst then list a few problems or faults you found with it. Then name the book/show that you found to be the best then tell why you enjoyed it.

Hate is too strong a word. But I could never really get in to The Forever War.
The book has everything I normally love. Aliens, Time travel, Other planets and some great ideas. But it just failed to deliver for me.

I loved Ender's Game and the Shadow series. But Ready Player One is battling for first.

Latest Review: "Heart of Flint" by Scott Stricklen

I have a lot of trouble picking worsts of anything, but I'd have to say that L. Ron Hubbard's books are quite terrible. I tried reading one but found it to be poorly written and boring. Nearly nothing happened in several hundred pages, and I hated each sentence.

The best would have to be Redshirts by John Scalzi (at the very least, it's near the top of my list) because it parodies Star Trek very well but manages to be a good novel in its own right.
