"Circle Nine" by Anne Heltzel

Post by acramos »

This book is a pretty quick read. It is an interesting piece that has its own mystery and suspense. The main character, Abby, needs to learn how to determine the difference of reality and fantasy and learn to live in and accept the world of reality. Abby is “born” at the beginning of the piece as a teenager and lives in a wonderful fairytale world with her true love, Sam, where she does nothing but waste the days away. However, Abby has no recollection of life before the day she was born, which leads to her wanting to know more about who she was once was. Her magical world begins to fall apart as she begins to see how ugly and dirty reality actually is.

Is there anyone else who has read this book? If so, what are your opinions on it?

I haven't read this book but from what you have written I think this would be a good read. Title sounds interesting and makes me wonder how it is justified in the story.
