Well, an apocalypse is not so fun if you are in it :P but I agree, reading about it is :) I love it when the characters in books are put in challenging situations, because that is when you get a glimpse into the true human nature. I also mostly read novels, which is why I find short stories so invigorating whenever I get to them :)
