I loved this book series. So much. I loved the characters, and how they developed over time, and the blooming romance between Cinder and Kai. There is a perfect amount of love, loss, anger, and courage in this novel. The next couple of books are no different. I love explaining the complicated(but still awesome) plot to my friends and sounding like a total maniac. Props to Marissa Meyer, because everything about this book is amazing.

Its been out for years and I'm just now getting an interest in it. Then again, I always like books more when they have been out for a long time.

I listened to the first book on audio, and I loved the strong female characters. However, I stopped listening halfway through the second book in the series. I thought the characters were getting a little too static and the story not as interesting. Maybe I'll give it another chance though.

One and two were great, the third didn't really wow me character wise but the plot was good. With the forth and final one, it's taking me ages to get through! I want to find out how it ends but it's a bit slow :(

I have not really been a sci-fi fan for the longest time but cinder as my debut to this genre I must say I am looking forward to these kinds of books. I found cinder intresting, its not your typical fairytale although its based on one. No mushy stuff and I had lots of words to look up on the dictionary. I am starting on scarlet right away.

I really enjoyed Cinder. The characters were interesting, the story was good, definitely a must-read for those who enjoy fantasy based on fairy tales.

I'm currently reading Scarlet, the second in the series, and it's great so far! Looking forward to reading more from Marissa Meyer.

This book might've been my favourite out of the series. Can I just say I loved the robot, penny, and cinder so much? They're the best. I think this should be known.

Sounds like an interesting sci-fi twist to Cinderella.
