It been 13 years since i first picked up this book in middle school.. Does ayone remember reading this book by Madeleine L'Engle who is a christian writer with a diffrent propective on bringing gripping novels of fantasy, poetry, and religion to life in an unsuspecting way.

I've never read this book but I vaguely remember watching a movie version. I just never thought the movie might be based on a book. Now I'm going to have to check it out because I loved that movie!

I read that book years and years ago when I was a child. I don't remember much about the story...I just do remember really enjoying it.

I remember having this book assigned in school, and I remember the cover art, but I remember absolutely nothing about the story. Time to re-read!

I loved her idea of the "tesseract." I just thought it was interesting and unique.

This is my all-time favorite book and I haven't read anything that I've loved more than this one so far.
I'm not a huge fan of the sequels and such, but A Wrinkle in Time is amazing.
I disagree about the cover art. If you're referring to the strange horse-like creature on most versions of the book, it's an illustration of Mrs. Whatsit in another one of her forms.

My favorite line will always be "a straight line is not the shortest distance between two points."

I read the whole series in elementary school. I remember loving them. My favorite was the sequel Many Waters. I think it was the third or fourth. It was great. Very imaginative books. :]

I have heard wonderful things about this series. I may wait to read it with my kids because it seems to be directed at a young audience, but I may just give in and read it to myself in secret

I was fascinated by the three ancient women and the concept of a time as a fabric. However, I remember very little of the actual plot.
