I'm sorry to hear about the shaky start. Together with the caveat about invented vocabulary, it seems like this review allows those who want to try the book reason to hope that early disappointments will soon disappear and the book will indeed improve. Thanks for this review!

I thought that Neworld Papers by Keith B. Shaw looks so interesting, I put my current book down to read this now. The thought of what it would be like to live on earth when it could no longer sustain living appeals to me, so this is going to be some great reading.

Thanks for the review. It is a wholesome futuristic imagery of people deciding how they are going to live in the next life after this world is destroyed. Yet as years went by they decided to change causing disruption and perhaps a return to their way of life while on earth.
Interesting. This is one that I will reserve to read later.

I loved the City of Ember, so this sounds like it's right up my alley. I'm always up for a good dystopian novel. Thanks for the review.

This isn't the type of book I normally read but Fallon's quest sounds exciting. I will definitely check it out.

Sci-fi novel and its conlang... A bit romance... I'm not fan of these types. But I want to dive into them. Maybe a fantasy work or world will save us from the monotonous life. Plus it will be interesting to start reading with the book. A cool pick for BOTD. Good review , too.

The beginning for me was a bit rushed. Like you mentioned it was hard to understand what was going on at first. After that however I became very interested. The implications that Jenna may know more than she tells our leading man made me want to read more and find out what she knows.
She read books as one would breathe air, to fill up and live.

Great review. The plot of this seems kind of like when countries were discovered here on Earth. Definitely my type of book will be grabbing it asap congrats on being BOTD.
