Angel Time by Anne Rice-Review

This was an ok book. I started it and the story went from the present day to the time of the crusades and back again. At times it seems like a total mind trip and stuff. Basically the main character ends up meeting with an angel that guides him through the lesson(s) that Toby needed to learn and even though Toby was supposed to perform what amounted to a mob hit throughout the book it just becomes a story of finding salvation. I just found it to be a bit scattered and even though there was a plot, it was not cohesive in my opinion. Not one of the better books I have read lately.
