To create stories with words that builds the ideas and dreams of individuals that come alive on the very pages that we read before us is a gift that many writers wish they had. For Nowick Gray that gift is very real. He shows his talent in the short story collection offered in his book Strange Love / Romance Not For Sale. This collection of short stories captures the imagination of the reader and takes it on a journey of love and relationships those that are real and those that are imagined. Gray’s writing is almost poetic in style and his stories will give the reader much to think about even after the story has been read. My favorite story from the collection was A Neighborly Visit. One of my favorite lines from the collection was. “No, really. Some of my best friends might even be imaginary.” Nowick Gray has captured the essence of life, love, and relationships in his collection of stories. I would love to read more works by this talented author. I have rated this collection a solid 5 stars. Very well done.
