After reading your review I have added this book to my reading list. It sounds like it may be funny. I also love to see a dad step into a bigger role. Thank you for the review.

Very good review. Even though I enjoyed the review this doesn't sound like the type of story I really enjoy.

Given the sample on Amazon, I think the novel delivers on the promises of laughs. It's not too often a book can make you literally lol.

Congratulations to Mr Armstrong for a job well done. I look forward to reading more of Daddy 3.0
Thanks Jacinthabox! While much of the humor in the book is more of an intelligent wit, there is still a healthy amount of laugh-out-loud moments. By the way, your user name always makes me giggle. :)

I have a friend getting ready to have a baby and even though Her Hubby works I can see her acting like you portrayed the wife in your review. Good thing she doesn't live near me LOL. I also hope the mistakes don't bother me while reading this I really think I'll enjoy it. Thanks for sharing a review of it.
Congrats on winning a print copy of the book. I think you will enjoy reading it even though you, like me, will probably want to smack the wife and her family!

The book was hard to get into. The parents with their altitudes and personalities. The review is good. However I really lost interest while reading the book.

The book is full of fun and laughter but it gets confusing at times. The parents are on different levels and the male parent seem lost at times. The children and the parents seem to have problems. The playground is a good place for children if they are friends. After all said and done. It is a good review but time oriented.

Looks like a good review. Thank you. As you said,it really is annoying sometimes to go through endless conversation, though the premise is good.

Thanks TrishaAnn, Tommie H Odom, and Sourav15 for the feedback! Despite the issues I mentioned, it's a witty, relatable book.

Well, isn't life a comedy sometimes - of people playing roles unplanned? Not a bad idea. The part of the wife being uncooperative is rather annoying. Most guys would hate that. The book needs a reading.

Great review! It sounds like an entertaining read. I find a lot of comedy books like this have a lot of details that slow down the pace. I feel like that can be a problem with memoirs - it's hard for a writer to weed out the unimportant facts of their own lives. Or at least, I think I would find that challenging. But it sounds funny and like something I'd want to read as I'm currently going through the struggles of parenthood myself.

This definetly sounds fun. Add a day to the mix of a whole bunch of stay at home mom and I can only imagine the conversations. Thanks for another great review!

This book teaches us to appreciate it when others go out of their way to take on roles that they are naturally weak at. It teaches us to be more considerate in our assessments. Thanks for the review.
