Even the review have minor errors, e.g paragraph 1 line 6. Otherwise, it's a good review to what I'll term as a rag to riches story..

I read the sample and thought the storyline was good, but the writing style was difficult for me. I do still want to finish this book because from your review it has a lot to offer the reader. Thank you for your review.

I cannot wait to read because of its coverage of life and living with abuse. It details about and on subjects that are touchy. I loved the review in that it didn't spoil the book and that it filled in pertinent information.

Great Review...Although I don't feel this one is for me as I have read books wherein the protagonist comes from an abused background, and I personally do not like reading it.

In the beginning of the story I was not sure it was something I wanted to read. I stuck with it and was drawn into the characters. I believe the subject matter of domestic violence is an important topic. It is also important to show the healing that can occur after voluntarily or, as in this case, involuntarily leaving the situation.

I read the sample and am very curious to see how Genna handles life after traveling to California and living in the battered woman's shelter. Also of interest is how Reggie further impacts and interacts in Genna's life. While the story was difficult to follow at times, I am interested in reading the entire story. Definitely worth the investment thus far.

The Review is really concise that shows the reviewer have had a complete look on the story....and he does only highlighted the grammatical mistakes....he doesn't criticise the story line which I must say is a good point about the story :D
