For me it is the James Herriot series - laugh out loud - can't read on the train books.

Ones that I can't read in public are The Diarys of Georgia Nicholson by Louise Rennison. I don't even like the main charcter that much, but my God, they make me laugh!

The River Why by David James Duncan is the funniest book I've ever read. I recommend it.

Tough question. I'm caught between The "Alphabet Of Manliness" by Maddox, and "Real Ultimate Power: The Official Ninja Book" by Robert Hamburger.

The funniest book I've ever read would have to be 'Fluke; or, I Know Why The Winged Whale Sings' by Christopher Moore. I mean, one of the main characters is a blond jewish surfer kid from New Jersey who lives in Hawaii and thinks he's a Jamaician Rastafarian.

Love Christopher Moore, I have only read two of his so far but "Lamb" so far was my favourite. I also read "Fool" which was a great laugh.
