Beauty Queens is definitely the funniest book I have ever read. Although it does touch on some more serious topics, the majority is hilarious. Libba Bray is a phenomenal author, creating surprisingly relatable characters. Even after rereading Beauty Queens many times, I don't think I could ever read it with a straight face.

I remember reading a book called The Obnoxious Jerks (by Stephen Manes, if I remember correctly) when I was in high school. I thought it was the funniest thing ever. I would like to read it again just to see if it's still funny. My sense of humor might have changed since then.

For me it might be Kinney's Diary of a Wimpy Kid. I know, those are for eleven year old kids but they crack me up! The main character, Greg, is a slacker and indeed a wimp. His failure to realize this makes it even more hilarious. The illustrations are also subjective to his point-of-view and are just hilarious.

Oh goodness I was just talking about this in another post! Georgette Heyer's The Convenient Marriage. I found myself grinning so widely my cheeks hurt through most of the book and even laughing out loud at some points! I've rarely done so when reading; even when I feel amused I just smile on the inside, but this book was just screamingly funny and draws you into the insanity.

I love anything by Chuck Palahniuk. I think he is hilarious. I love the dry sense of humor he gives his characters.

I agree Bossypants is extremely funny, Tina is an amazing comedian and she proves it with her book. I love Darynda Jones the Charley Davidson series is hilarious.

I read some books by Louise Rennison called the confessions of Georgia Nicholson and they were so funny. That girl was always getting caught up in weird situations and her cat was just funny :)
