top for me would be tales of the dying earth by jack vance. the whole story is absurd, ridiculous, and thoroughly enjoyable.

Douglas Adam's makes me laugh. Terry Pratchett. Bill Bryson makes me laugh out loud. You know a book is funny when your bed partner wonders what you're laughing about. 'Farewell My Ovaries' by Wendy Harmer is hilarious.

George Carlin's books made me laugh. I think I like his book Brain Droppings the most.

Sundays with Vlad by Paul Bibeau. It's funny to see how Dracula has evolved from Vlad the Impaler to count Chocula!

the Diceman, by luke rhinehardt. a truely dispicable novel that trampled on every social and moral taboo, but i found it to be rather funny, be warned its not for the faint hearted. actually some chapters will cuase extreme offence

According to Wikipidia it was "banned in several countries." I guess I have to read it now.

I enjoyed Can You Keep a Secret by Sophie Kinsella. The insecure yet loveable character Emma will have you laughing hard about the many secrets she tries to hide from others about herself and how her little secrets ultimately get her into trouble.

I agree about Bill Bryson being hilarious. Even more so is anything by David Sedaris, I just love that man!
I also like Carl Hiaasen, Dave Barry, Laurence Shames and Tim Dorsey for funny Florida books and Marian Keyes for the hilarious Irish perspective.
