Review: Random Family

Post by CandaceP »

One of my favorite books, that I could read over and over, is Random Family written by Adrian Nicole LeBlanc. This book is slow starting out, but once you get past the first chapter, it enthralls you in it's pages, begging you for "just one more page" before bed. The book spans over a period of 10 years, allowing you to really get to know and bond with the books key players. It's a story of love, loss, regret, growing up and making it.. all in the Bronx. I have read this book 5 times and revisit it in my mind often. The characters in this book have stayed with me through out the years and I find myself wondering, from time to time, where and who they might be now.
