Great review! I must say, after reading the book sample, i find description of the place in the pacific, the catholic school and the names of the character seems to me like it was in the country where I come from, the Philippines. i'm excited to start reading

Young adult fiction is really something I like, but there are always exceptions. However, your honest review and great readership make me feel that this book is really worth reading. I watch and evaluate people like the character of the book Leilani ! :lol2:

Thanks for your review. I have not read any of this series, so I am not familiar with any of the backstory. It sounds like it could be a really interesting novel and good to know that it can be read as a stand alone.
