Interesting and easy question, Leon! The grandmother, Muriel, is my favorite. She's got quite the sense of humor (a strength) that she sometimes overuses (a flaw), and though she's facing declining health in her eighties, she's too feisty and interested in life to just sit around and let her heart, soul, and social connections decline as well. Thanks for reading!Leon Durham wrote:The book has an interesting premise. Great review, Nadine Times. Of all three Bennett women, who would you say was your favorite and why?

Ah HA! I might have suspected as much if the "Bennetts" were "Bennets." There are indeed a lot of P & P spin-offs going around these days.Rachaelamb1 wrote:Am I the only one who thought this was going to be a spin off of Pride and Prejudice?

Thanks! And who says arguing over what to eat for dinner isn't interesting?ALynnPowers wrote:Aw, I love your summary of the book! It makes me think of how my life used to be living with my mom and grandmother. I am sure our story wasn't quite as interesting, though. Mostly we just argued over what to eat for dinner.
