The book has a very movie like opening. The plot is on,right from the first sentence , without any briefing. The assassin seems like a person avenging an injustice meted out to an innocent girl, who deserved to be very much alive, and who wasn't because her current target had seen to it otherwise. It justifies the assassin as the good guy trying to kill the undeserving bad guy. There is a lot of imagery and attention to detail.there certainly is a sense of loss( of identity,of a loved one,and others).Jane's impression about Archer helps us to know the protagonist better ...and yes, the character can totally be related to,so that gets the reader interested in knowing more and actually reading the book

This sounds amazing! I like it when the characters are easy to love. Terrific review!

Aloha,

Kudos with your review! Kudos to the author for free book!

I do not mean be rude. SPOILER FOR CERTAIN REASON. It the lost of a child. One of my friends pass away a few years ago. He was healthy, young, and a manager nurse. Regardless, his mom changed since then.
My daddy dealt with this with one of his friends. My daddy loves to read! Anything about a child, he stays away from. My daddy said reading any books with kids, it like open up the wounds again. Those are my reasons for the spoiler. My apologizes if I offended anyone.

I am in the middle of Chapter 5. This book is so far wonderful! While it sad, it teaches about knowing to cherish life. It also teaches how a dog and a horse can help heal. I am not officialy diagnose. Most of my meds are for ptsd. Plus, I dealt with other things. It is okay for many have it worst. I look foward to finishing it!

Blessings,

Thanks for the review. I like the fact that the dialogue flows so well and that everything is thought out. Sometimes books seem to have an awkward way to it that can attract from the pleasure of the book.
