Review: The Shop on Blossom Street

Since I am a knitter I thought I'd enjoy this book a lot and I did. The book is about 4 women who all come together through the knitting. Each chapter is about each of the four women.
It starts of with a woman named lydia who is a cancer survivior and opens a yarn shop.
The next lady is named Carol and the book follows her and her husband who want to have a baby but are having trouble conceiving.
Then Jacqueline who's son married a southern girl, who she disapproves of.
Finally, Alix, who works at a video store and comes from a broken home.
They all join the class for different reasons. They make unexpected discoveries about each other and themselves. All of which lead to acceptance and friendship and laughter and dreams.
This is a must read even for non-knitters.
