I just finished Walk Through Fire by Joshua P. Simon. I can't say that I was fully impressed, and I'm not driven to finish the trilogy. The author has a great imagination and develops his story and chatacters well, but I think I was just a little too old for this one. I got it for free a while back in the Kindle store. It was shorter than I would have expected given the synpopsis, and I think that the author's lack of experience showed through in how the story ended. I felt that the book ended abruptly as opposed to leaving itself open for a sequel. All in all, I'm not sorry to have read it, but I won't recommend it or remember it for any extended period of time.
