Yes, there are some flaws, but overall it's an interesting story. It's definitely a "cause" story. If environmental protection is high on the list of things you're passionate about, you'll no doubt enjoy it.

I have read other books by this author, and I agree with your views. Sounds similar to what I've read, anyhow.

Tulpa and Sysco. Tulpa isn't bad, it isn't the "environmental message" stuff. It's actually not bad. Sysco sounds similar to The Superfund.

I don't mind the environmental message - there's certainly a place for that - but it needs to be presented in an honest and realistic way. One of my issues with this story is, it wasn't. Some of it was just hard to swallow. And with better character development, the story (and cause, which the author obviously cares about) would have a greater impact on the reader.
