First off, I just want to say that this is my first post, so I am unsure if I am doing it right. Apologies for any mistakes.


I have recently finished ready The Shock Of The Fall by Nathan Filer. I believe it is also printed under a different title (Where The Moon Isn't). It is Nathan Filer's debut novel and I think it is absolutely amazing. Words I would use to describe this book are, haunting, beautiful, and powerful. It's a novel about death and mental illness and I think it is written exceptionally well.
I believe this novel won best novel at the 2014 Costa book awards.

I loved it. Highly recommended. 4.5 stars.
