The Shack by Wm. Paul Young tells the story about Mackenzie Allen Philip and how he goes through the grief from when his daughter was abducted during a family vacation. They had found evidence that she was brutally murdered in this abandoned shack in Oregon and four years later, Mack gets a letter inviting him back to the shack. A letter supposedly from God. There he meets three people, who are interesting takes on the 3 that make up the trinity. It is a very interesting book and these 3 help him come to grips with his daughter's death and answers those questions so many ask: Why do bad things happen to good people and where is God when those things happen?
