The Last of the Mohicans James Fenimore Cooper

My dad told me to read this book and I did a long time ago.
I put it on the kindle for my daughter so she could read it and accidentally bumped it open the other night.
(If you can't see this happening you should watch me on the word processor)

Anyway, I was immediately caught up in it and read about 30 pages even though I didn't even mean to open the book.
I had forgotten or never realized the first time through how he draws you in, makes you see the people and the woods and the horses.
Does anyone else see a movie in their head when they read this book?

I remember this book from quite a while ago so I can't speak specifically about anything other than I remember that it was a very long story with lots of descriptions but written in such a way as to captivate me until the end. In reading through the books that have been discussed here I am finding a lot of books that I had forgotten about and want to skim over, if not read again, because I remember that I liked them but don't remember why.

And yes, I do picture movies in my head and did with this one because of the descriptions of everything.

I have read the book in my childhood and love it. Maybe it is time to reread it.

I vision the plot as well while reading.
