Absolutely not! To see your beloved ones getting older and dying all over again would be a disaster for me. Besides, would it mean you have stopped aging at your 20s, 30s...80s (God forbid)? Living one life, but living it fully would be quite enough for me.

The idea of immortality is as old as hills.People have always dreamt to live endlessly. Why did Adam and Eva refuse to take God"s gift of eternal life? They preferred life with pains, sorrows and being in the know that they will die.that is there's something more important than life of life is meaningless without it. No doubt it is love.

I don't think I would. It would be too long a life with too higher expectation to it. It may not be nice knowing that you will pass on some day but at least it would show a change. For all we know that could lead to a new life.
The purpose of a storyteller is not to tell you how to think, but to give you questions to think upon

Firstly, I believe that no one ever really dies but, in respect to the question, which, I assume has to do with the current lifetime (the physical world)... I would take immortality.
As part of my faith and belief system; I already do believe in immortality after Ressurection therefore, I believe it is part and parcel of my evolution and destiny to live forever but, I must die in this realm in order to complete my soul's journey.

If I were given a chance to become immortal I would prefer to be one. Being an immortal gives us the chance to live for eternity. This means that I can have the opportunity to explore and observed all the changes evolved in the world.

Hahaha i would actually want to be immortal for a short time, if it so happens that i have my brains to simply know how it feels and can tell what i felt at that particular moment.
but would i be immortal and still reason things out normally? just wondering in thoughts...

Would your brain be in a jar with sense and organs attached to it? The bossy husband in a Roald Dahl story suffered for his sins in that way. Suppose your mental faculties survived, mysteriously unconnected to your organs, what would you see? If other people survived in the same way, how would you see them, speak to them, hear them or touch them? I dare not allude to the organ of taste. How would other people recognize you and how would you spend a timeless existence?

Here's the thing, because I'm in my mid-twenties right now so being immortal in this stage of my body would be pretty sweet. I'm still young enough that I'd have the energy I'd need, but at the same time, a body gets tired of this world, don't you think?

Then again, there is a certain draw to being young forever and having the time to write and read as much as you please . . .

I wouldn't want immortality. Yeah, never aging might be cool for a while, but then friends and family members would grow older and eventually pass on, and I would be left behind. It would be absolute torture to know from the very first that everyone who is( or becomes) important to you would leaving you and that you would have no ability to follow them.
