I would not since being immortal is really scary for a fact that you may be solely alone since you are the only immortal across the universe. Being lonely is scary and stressful in fact I would die of loneliness.

It would certainly be an immortal. However, I do not think I'd choose to be one. There would be more disadvantages if one would become an immortal. For instance, it would be lonely and boring if I'm the only one who gets immortality (and everyone else I love dies).

no no no... no way...... as a believer in science.. this would lead to reduction in genetic evolution....hence occurrence of same diseases and disabilities.. this could lead to an extinction of human race

Sure, I would. Because the longer I live, the more chances to explore and fulfill purpose on earth.

Living forever,as you watch everyone else age and die,no thanks. It will be a life of misery ,the shortness of life has made it worth living to the fullest each second of life and enjoying it to the fullest

I'm fine as how I am now,I just want to live a normal life like the rest.Immortal is for the Gods I guess. And evrything must have its end which makes it normal.

Why not since this is Gods plan for us to become immortal the reason why people die because of sin originally started from Adam and eve.. Immortality for me is from god not from satan .. He he that's my opinion only.

If I were given the choice to be immortal I would probably choose yes, as long as i know others who are also going to become immortal. The thought of living forever is very enticing but...not alone. :hand:

Personally, if the choice to become immortal is non-reversible, or I am the only person given this choice, then I would choose to stay mortal.

While I am by no means ready for death, the thought of outliving everyone I know and have come to love is not pleasant. If, however, I am able to stop aging in my mid to late twenties, along with certain select people I am closely attached to, then I might seriously consider it. The good one could do for the world as an immortal being is immeasurable.
