Greetings fellow bookers!

Post by Mpearcy0714 »

Pleasure to meet you all,

I'm Michael, a Las Vegas native that loves all things Fantasy and Sci-Fi. I can honestly say I found a love for reading on my 13th(I'll be 29 this year) birthday when I received the 1st Harry potter book as a present. Before then I really didn't care for reading, Just give me my video games and I was fine, but I experienced that lovely "scene" vision that only comes from reading and the minds eye.

Books became my movies once I gave HP a fair shot, even deeper then movies themselves. I could visualize the characters, their tones, voice tones, expressions, the world around them, even the background noises. All this from reading words on paper in the form of a story? Intense! I've been hooked ever since.

When not reading I'm usually gaming, working out(martial arts), attempting to write short stories of my own, or playing some bass or guitar. This seems like a cool place, and I'm always happy to read and connected with like minded beings. Thanks for taking the time to read this if you are!
