My name is Jessica DeHoyos, 21 years old. I love to read and write stories. I love paranormal and fantasy type stuff, like werewolves, vampires (not Twilight, I am not a Twilight fan!), Dragons especially, demons, elves. I have a few on my list right now that I'm working on, one derived from a character from World of Warcraft, next will be a book about Marvel's Black Widow. I also love books that tell stories about animals, a few that I read in school that I loved were A Dog's Life, The Good Dog, and White Star of the Titanic. As far as favorite books go, that's hard to say. I loved Eragon, also a book called Rise of the Dragons. The Cirque Du Freak series was really good. I guess you could say that I love books that have sort of a dark theme about them, or are about animals.
I always like to say that while some people are addicted to drugs, alcohol, video games, etc, I'm addicted to books and notebooks. A few weeks ago I found $20 on the ground, I got so excited and ran into the nearest Target where I bought 4 notebooks, a set of pens, and the Marvel's Black Widow book. I was the happiest person.
I can't wait to get started here, reading books and reviewing them. I haven't been reading a whole lot over the last couple of years and I really miss it. I know this Online Book Club will be an excellent way to get me reading again!
