Eager and Excited

Post by FurbySunshyne »

Hello all!

I am excited to be a part of this community and can't wait to really dive in and begin exploring. I love to read and would never stop if I could get away with it. I feel reading is such an important part of personal development, and I encourage everyone I meet to pick up a book. I am so thrilled my children have inherited my love for literature and have collections of their own.

I tend to be very open and adventurous when it comes to reading. Although my favorite genre has always been dystopias and survival stories (Hatchet, The Giver and The Swiss Family Robinson were my favorite stores growing up) I will read anything, and enjoy it all. I equally crave mass market and classic works, and what I'm reading depends on what looks good at the bookstore that day. I pick books like many people pick dinner - "What looks yummy today?"

I very much look forward to meeting you all, experiencing new books, and sharing perceptions with the community.
