I love to read and when i have time to read (after they're asleep or lunch break) I can get through about 3 books during the weekday and 2 or more on the weekends. Reading has always been apart of my life and now is a method of "zoning out" and my escape from the stress of everyday life. I read different genres out there like romance, erotica, paranormal romance, science fiction, drama, some poetry, comics, fantasy, and of course the classics.
My boys have picked up my love of books as well and are currently reading the series "Dragonbreath" by Ursula Vernon.
We do discuss the books they are currently reading and the conflict and resolutions each character faces and how they would have handled the situation differently.
I'm hoping this site will provide the intellectual and "zoning out" stimulation that I need. Also getting paid to do book reviews is not an entirely bad thing. The extra funds can always be used for whatever new project me and the kids will be doing at the time to out home.
I am also hoping to meet new people that share my love for reading and hoping to find new books to add to my list and looking forward to working with the authors of the books I will have the chance to review.
