Hello everyone!

Post by abbierakes »

It's so nice to have a forum to discuss literature. My friends and family get tired of hearing me ramble on about what I'm reading or what I thought of a certain book. It's great to find kindred spirits. I don't have a favorite book. What are my favorite books out of which genre would be a better question. SOME of my favorites would include Tithe by Holly Black, Mrs. Poe by Lynn Cullen, the Sabriel series by Garth Nix, and Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. I look forward to speaking with anyone on here who enjoys a good discussion!

WELCOME!! - I have been enrolled in this forum for awhile, but only recently started posting. We can be Newbies together. What are you reading right now? I read everything, quite literally actually. From cereal boxes to romances, fantasy, biographys, histories... and the list goes on. Currently I am reading The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, The Orphan Train (for a book club at church), and the 4th Game of Thrones book. I do get confused sometimes, and have to back up a chapter to get myself back on track. I too am excited about being here, my brother-in-law is the only other book worm fanatic in the family. I have become quite familiar with the glazed over look other family and friends get when I start talking about a book. I think the forum is also a good place to draw other reading suggestions from.

Welcome to the book club. First rule of book club, no one talks about book club. Never mind. Tell your friends.
