by My name is Mary Catherine Hayes. Please remember that name one day you will see it on the shelves of bookstores all around the world. I hope anyway. I am 29 years old and live in Liverpool UK. I don't work due to medical reasons, so most of the time I am reading or watching films.
So yes, my name is Mary, and I have been looking all over for some kind of book club that I can go to every week and talk about the one thing I love in the world. I have a very extensive collection of books, over 200 of them, all different genres. Mostly I have collections for example Harry Potter, Twilight, Percy Jackson. But I also have my favourite authors as well. They are Lesley Pearse Joan Jonker Maureen Lee Lyn Andrews and Dan Brown.
My love of books came when I was about four years old, I was bored with watching cartoons on telly and I found one of my sisters school books I sat there for hours teaching myself how to read. I will always remember what that book said. It was the poem One fine day in the middle of the night, two dead men got up to fight, back to back they faced each other, drew their swords and shot each other. Ever since reading that I was hooked on reading. It makes me angry to see some people treating books badly when they should be treated with respect.
So that is me, I hope I meet some new people on here. I will recommend any book that I think is good. Hope to speak to some of you soon.
