Book Recommendation for me?

Post by Bhayes90 »

Well I'm 26 almost 27, pregnant with our second child. We are not married, I work with at risk youth and I love reading books. I love books that really grab your attention whether it be fiction or non-fiction. Please give me a good book recommendation that you have experienced.

I would recommend Mr. Mercedes by Stephen King, Beloved by Toni Morrison, The Brief and Wondrous Life by Junot Diaz, and Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck.

You could try "cheaper by the dozen". Way better than the film. It's a light read and I got a few chuckles out of it. I'm recommending it based on your information. Kids can be stressful, so why not remind yourself of the more light-hearted aspects of raising them?

I'm close to retirement age, meaning vampire and zombie stuff doesn't cut it when I'm looking for a book to read. My preference is with ghosts, or spiritual angels, detective, murder mysteries. Is this enough info?
