I enjoy drinking ice cold water when I'm reading, since it always feels so refreshing. As for food, I tend to eat things I can't make a mess with so I don't ruin my books.

Most of my time reading now is reading aloud to my other half and our baby, so I don't do much eating while I read, but I do try to drink pretty much anything to keep my mouth from being dry (usually water, as that's what I drink most). However, if I really wanted to just cozy up with a book and enjoy some "me time" reading, I'd grab a cup of herbal tea. Chamomile is my favorite but I enjoy exploring different flavors. There is something so classic, simultaneously relaxing and invigorating, about drinking herbal tea while reading.

While reading. I love to eat Ritz Crackers and Cheese. The beverageof my choice is Pepsi. I then eat a club salad. The crackers and cheese are easy to prepare and you can just relax and read. I took after my mom. That's what she would eat while reading.

I generally will get anything that won't require that much effort to eat because I already a mess eater and when distracted by books it even worse. So chips and smoothies are my favorite.

It is extremely rare that I eat or drink anything at all when I read.

I love sitting down with a book and a cup of tea. My favourite snack to go with that would be a scone but currently, I'm on a limited diet and sadly, no scones at the moment. But honestly, whenever I eat any meal, I always grab something to read. It's almost impossible for me to eat and not read at the same time! (unless of course, I'm eating with someone else!)

I prefer some tea or coffee as my drink when I read. I like all kinds of tea ... so I don't have a preference for flavor there.

As for food, I like simple things that don't make a mess. Sandwiches are amazing for that! Things like fruits that I can chow on one-handed are also excellent.

A cup of hot coffee and snacks like popcorn, sandwich and burger...Vow that would be amazing ...
to make a fresh start and to read any book or novel.
