Re: Favorite Beverage While Reading

Post by LaurelTree »

I find that I prefer different drinks in different seasons and with varying genres. For instance, I always have the desire to read, Jane Eyre, in the fall. I prefer to drink coffee or tea when I read it while consuming peanut butter toast. In the summer, I like a cold crisp soda when I read my cozies.

A cup of coffee is a must while I read in the morning :)

I must have either hot tea or coffee in the mornings. Later in the day, I can drink water, lemonade, Sprite, or just about any type of beverage with lots of ice.

I agree with SparklingOne. Winter is the time for hot beverages, I tend to like my coffees, but after finding some really yummy tea, I think I might cross over . Summer is more for the cold drinks, I don't drink much wine, but I can imagine it would be good too.

I love to have a big glass of apple juice to drink well I read. Its cool and wakes up my brain if I'm having trouble getting into a book.

I could not agree more bookowlie! I drink coffee in the morning to wake up and then it's tea and book time. :D

Usually I don't drink when I read. If I do it is usually something hot. I sometimes like to drink hot water or sip hot chocolate. I don't like to drink during reading because I am always afraid that I will spill my beverage on my book. I do like to eat when I read though, as long as it isn't too messy. A lot of times I will suck on candy.

My favorite is a nice hot chocolate, topped with whipped cream chocolate shavings, maybe even cinnamon, with cream. The other favorite beverage is dragon chai tea with sugar and milk. Both awesome to savor and enjoy while I read a good book, inside or out of doors.!! :)

Right now, I am drinking tea or hot chocolate. During the summer it is usually water or maybe some juice. I am also perfectly happy just reading with nothing to drink.

Coffee/tea in the winter or whilst at home.

If I am reading whilst abroad in the sunshine then it has to be somehting fruity or maybe something alcoholic.

I have to consider my mood and the weather. Currently, I'm stuck on peppermint tea.
