I agree with most of the people who have already commented. I love reading with a cup of tea in hand, but I hardly ever eat while reading, unless it's reading for which I have a limited amount of time, say, for school.

Not really. I like keeping my hands clean and available for turning pages or swiping.

I always start out with a hot cup of coffee, but if I'm loving the book there's a good chance the coffee winds up forgotten and cold before it's half done

I do too!!! I love to have coffee in my hand and a bagel if it's in the morning and for the evening tea and pringles! Lol. Something so comforting about that good book and food I love. :)

If I could chose, I wouldn't eat while reading. But most weekdays mealtimes will be the only free time I have to read, so I usually read while eating.

:techie-reference: I don't really like to eat while I'm reading mainly because I'm worried I might spill on the book! :lol2: So, no, I NEVER eat while reading! :snooty: :tiphat:

Eating while reading?! No way! ?

Just kidding! In reality though, no, I actually usually forget to... Occasionally my fiancé will walk in and remind me to go hydrate or eat something (sometimes he is even nice and brings me something!) but usually I get too lost in the book and don't. (No regrets ?)

A giant cup of tea is definitely the number one item I have when reading but I also really enjoy a good baked good along with it. A brownie square, a slice of cake or maybe a chocolate chip cookie are all great options.
