My favourite book theme is scary fiction, with mystical creatures like vampires and ghosts. I actually suprised myself by loving titles like The Book Thief and the Diamond of Drury Lane series, as they are based around history, which ususally isn't my favourite thing to read. I have written a few novels (yet to be published) and they all seem to have some sort of magic and blood in them... Does this suggest anything about my personlity? All of them are very dark as well, especially Blayd. I'm not saying any more. If you could give some examples of your theme, that would be great. Thanks!

The horrors seem to have it so far. But I'm curious....Pride and Prejudice and Zombies = dark romance?
How perfectly goddamned delightful it all is, to be sure.

Hey, I'm replying to my own post. Hoorah. Just to say, my opinions have changed slightly: I'm now obsessed with horror! I still love my mysterious vampires and evil faeries, but since I've always been fascinated by horror movies, I decided to read some books of this genre, and was not disappointed. I love Stephen King (I just finished Firestarter, it's a brilliant read) and zombie books are always great. Thanks for posting!
