I'm a big fan of Jane Eyre and Pride & Prejudice, but I'm going to vote for Dracula. Its dark and stormy where I'm at right now so that might have something to do with it.

Yes, the writing style can put a lot of people off. But maybe you just haven't found the right book yet. If you like romance, you could try the old favorite, Jane Eyre.Reading lady wrote:That is quite an impressive list you have there. Have to admit though that I have never been drawn to the classics.
