That's not the only reason, of course, but it's a big one.Reading gives us someplace to go when we have to stay where we are.
What is grief, if not love persevering?
Grief is just love with no place to go.

There's so much depth to a book than any movie can ever achieve. I've yet to see an adapted film that captures the feel of a book. I'm always disappointed.

There is nothing better than the smell of a brand new hardcover book.

Love fiction about different people, places, beliefs to lose myself in the story and to learn other customs.
Thrillers love because of excitement and "how is this predicament going to work out."
Nonfiction enjoy reading biographies to learn more about the famous and infamous, as well as tidbits I haven't heard or read about.
I love books, ah, the smell of a new book, love the control of holding a book in my hands, putting it down, picking it up again when I am ready to read.
E-reading is portable entertainment, the ability to carry dozens, gosh even hundreds of books all in one place, heavenly!
Reading is relaxing, there when I'm ready patiently waiting to join me in the next great read!

There is nothing better than getting into a good romance with a HEA. It makes me forget about all of my troubles or worries. There is nothing like that.
