Hahaha, yeah, that sounds like fun!

Do you have many Spanish-speaking friends?

I just know a couple of Spanish speaking people who I see in a chat forum once a week - but we email each other in our own languages, which is cool.

Tell me what you would like to learn Kath!

Well, banning books sucks big time! In M?xico the concept doesn?t exist as such, it's actually weird to ban a book (I have seen the Marquis de Sade?s books next to Harry Potter in some supermarkets, hahaha), but today I asked at a library if they carried Salman Rushdie's The satanic verses and they do not. It's not banned, but because of the controversy of the book in other countries the editorial house stopped its printing a few years back. Well, that's pretty much like banning it! I will get it from Amazon one day!

I completely agree. There are so many great novels that I have read, and are on the great American novels list that have at some point been banned. Controversial novels are important for broadening our minds and are so they need to remain available to the public.

I recently had an answer deleted on a Catholic forum because the moderator did not like something he saw in Chapter 23 of an online book called "Gospel Enigma."

So in my opinion, book banning is still alive and well in some circles.
