I cry and I laugh (and get weird looks  )... HP and the Half Blood Prince (Dumbledore's death) and HP and the Deathly Hollows (oh, my Fred..) are the first ones that comes to mind, I still cry when I read them eventhough I have read them at least 5 times...

I'm more crazy than that  : I have read the entire series in three different languages, books 1-4 at least 10 times, and the last three about 5 times, and there's no end in sight  . (I read a lot of other things too, you know, but I keep coming back to HP at least once a year)

to add to the list of animal books, Where the Red Fern Grows always, always makes me cry

In fantasy, Robin Hobb's Tawny Man trilogy makes me bawl, especially the third one, Fool's Fate.

Other books would be Cold Mountain, Gone with the Wind, Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah, Here on Earth by Alice Hoffman, Setting Free the Bears by John Irving, Bel Canto by Ann Patchett.... and on and on.

Yes I had a cry after reading the Seven Habits of Highly effective people ...by Stephen R. Covey....

I cried right from my depth of the heart about the way I was moving in the journey of my life .....I saw my dead End and realize to wake up with deep breath and revitalize inner strength to take control of my life with my proactive ethical behavior...

Planetfall, an interactive fiction sci fi novel featured a minor character named Floyd.

Floyd was the main character's sidekick; and he was a robot.

Throughout the story Floyd was friendly and helpful with a child's mentality and intellect to match. Yet his warm spirit was so bright and warm so as to enhance the whole story.

Floyd died saving the main character. I don't remember if I actually cried (I enjoyed Planetfall some 20 years ago) but I do remember it saddened me profoundly.

The last time I cried while reading a book was when I re-read Harriot's first book and got to the old dog of the old poor man he had to put down... I have tears in my eyes now when I remember it.

Books that gave me a big cry - with weeping and all, not just a tear on the face - "The Art of Racing in the Rain" (dogs again... I guess they do it to me) and "My Sister's Keeper".

I read Charlotte's Web for the first time as an adult. And I wept when the spider died. I loved that little pig too. In fact, I loved the whole book.

I cried while reading "The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud". I decided to read it when the movie came out and it was incredible. The movie, unfortunately, did not do it justice.

There are probably a few books for me, but the number 1 for me is Shes Come Undone by wally Lamb. I cried pretty much the whole way through.

Oscar and the Lady in Pink by Eric-Emmanuel Shmitt. Even though I knew how it will end.
