I almost never cry when reading books. I think I have only cried like once or twice while reading a book. However one book that made me cry was This Dark Endeavour by Kenneth Oppel. I don't even remember what made me cry in it, all I can remember is crying at near the end of the book and trying to stop. Which is weird for me because I am usually not emotionally at all.

When I write I tend to become the character and have shed tears often while writing my novels.

I usually don't cry while reading, but I recently reread East of Eden for the fourth time, and I still sobbed at the end of Part Three. I think that book will always get to be.

I rarely cry when reading but "The Fault in Our Stars" brought the tears. Actually had to put the book down to find tissues.

More than I can count... but some that me cry are "Sarah's Key" by Tatiana De Rosnay, "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas" by John Boyne, "The Death Cure" by James Dashner, and countless others.

I have cried with many books but I think the first book to have made me cry was in high school when I ready Animal Farm. Anything with animals has a higher chance of making me cry. Another book that has made me cry is My Sister's Keeper.

I tend to be emotional while reading books, but the very first book to made me cry, i mean really ugly cry is "My sister's keeper" by Jodi Picoult. It's very sad book, but very humain. And the plot twist : Mind blowing.

The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold made me cry so much! I got it for my 30th birthday and read it all in one day but it destroyed my head for weeks after! I couldn't get that book and images that I had while reading it out of my mind! I loved this book, but even now, although it's been 5 years, it still makes me cry thinking about it!!

The first book that I remember making me sob my young eyes out was Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls. I remember that it was a school night and I knew that I should have been asleep hours beforehand but I just couldn't put the book down. There I was at 1:00 a.m. absolutely bawling so hard that I could barely see the words on the page. I still have the immediate reaction of, "Aw!" every time I think of the story. It was so sweet and so sad.

Not all books can make us cry. Only a very special book can bring out the tears in our eyes. "A Walk to Remember - Nicholas Sparks" is a very special book for me. I have read it countless times.... each time I find my eyes blurred with tears.

Other books that have me cry are "The Notebook" and "The Guardian" - Nicholas Sparks, Harry Potter (Books 5, 6 and 7) and "The Oath of the Vayuputras" - Amish Tripathi.

I agree with the fact that the last Harry Potter book made you cry, same with me! But the book that has made me cry the most is definitely Looking For Alaska by John Green. The count down to the day was sad enough, but the ending had me bawling! It's one of my favorite books, but definitely also the saddest.
