Okay so I've had many books/movies make me cry. Probably my most recent would be "Wolf children". What a tearjerker for me. I think it's because I could relate to how both of the children were, yet how the mother felt.

Looking For Alaska by John Green makes me cry every single time I read it, even though I know what happens by now, of course. Also, there was something in I think every Harry Potter book that made me cry! There's one more in particular, but the name of it is escaping me right now. (Surprisingly, also, I did not cry at The Fault in Our Stars!!)

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows for sure.
The Fault in Our Starts had me bawling like a baby at 2 A.M.
Looking for Alaska, also, had me in tears.
The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon, not only did it make me cry, it frustrated me so much I refuse to ever read it again.
Me Before You got a good cry out of me.

There are also books I refuse to read because I KNOW they'll make me cry.

There have been a few tear jerkers, but I think the books that always draws tears would have to be, 'A Walk to Remember', 'The Notebook' and 'The Wedding' all by Nicholas Sparks. I'm usually not drawn to romance as much, but these books are ones I can read over and over again without cringing. It's funny because I can still read them, despite knowing what they're about and I still get emotional hehe.

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes. I can't even think about that book without sobbing.

The Art of Racing in the Rain has made me come very close to crying, but not quite. I don't think a book has ever made me actully cry, but I do get emotional about certain books.

I cry a lot during books but the two that come to mind are DEFENDING JACOB by Landay and ME BEFORE YOU by JoJo Moyes. Both of them had me sobbing!

I recently joined this site and followed this forum because I love books that make me cry. One of my favorite books to curl up with a Kleenex is Susan Elizabeth Phillips' "Ain't She Sweet". I love books about friends that fall apart over time and then are reconfigured and put back together.

The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. When I read Frodo's letter to Sam in, "Return of the King." That made me cry.
"Without books as our anchors, we are cast adrift, neither teaching nor learning. They are windows on the past, mirrors on the present, and prisms reflected all possible futures. Books are lighthouses erected on the dark sea of time.”

I think I cried at least once while reading every single one of the Harry Potter books. Also "Tuesdays with Morrie" by Mitch Albom had me bawling like a baby. As did "The Fault In Our Stars".
