Another one, that unless you have small children you have probably never even heard of, was 'On the Night You Were Born.' It's a children's story, so it's very short, but it's so sweet. It got me all sorts of teary-eyed when I first read it (I was pregnant, though, which probably had something to do with it.) I bought a copy for each of my boys and the tattoo I'm getting for my kids is based on the cover art for that story.
I also found a picture for my boys' room that is the same verse as the dedication in the book: "For you are fearfully and wonderfully made."
It gives me all warm fuzzies.

Kim Harrison's 'The Hollows" made me cry during several books. Charlaine Harris' Harper Connelly Series made me cry because the stories involved were very emotional. Anytime children and death is involved things take a sad turn.

In the Order of the Phoenix, I cried when Sirius died.
In the Half Blood Prince, I cried when Dumbledore died.
In the Deathly Hallows, I cried too many times to count.

I just love when a book is so well written that you feel so in touch with the characters and their lives that their misfortune and triumphs feel like they are yours. I love feeling like I'm in the story and not reading it.

Not gonna say why
What is grief, if not love persevering?
Grief is just love with no place to go.
