Oh god I have so many books that have made me cry, one of the first being ways to live forever. It's about a little boy with lukiemia and it's absolutely heartbreaking.
I recommend it as a short but powerful read though, but I've lost count of the books that have made me cry there's been so many!

The book which had me crying was 'What Milo Saw' by Virginia Macgregor. I had previously won it on a giveaway listed on goodreads and even the second time reading this I couldn't stop crying. It is an absolutely beautiful book and would definitely recommend! :techie-studyingbrown:

I remember back in middle school I read Marley and Me and I cried on the bus. A couple years ago I read The Fault in Our Stars and I bawled like a baby! They were both incredible books though!

Nicholas Sparks, though I feel his story lines are similar, has me crying with every single book of his I've read.

Ways to Live Forever by Sally Nicholls had me crying buckets
We fade away, but vivid in our eyes
A world is born again that never dies.

There are several times that certain books have made me cry. The one that had me bawling like a baby was The Yearling.

The Art of Racing in the Rain... Wow, it was a great book for me, and if you've ever owned a Golden Retriever or Lab, this one will make you cry for sure.

The book that I can think of that made me cry recently was The Art of Racing In the Rain by Garth Stein. If you have any semblance of a heart that book will make you cry like a baby.

A Child Called It by Dave Pelzer
Marley and Me by John Grogan

I don't cry when reading much unless it involves children or animals. These are just the main two I could think of.

I cried at the end of The Road by Cormac Mcarthy. Despite preparing myself for that possibility, it didn't make reading it any easier.

The title, The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein, made me weep. Not from sadness exactly, but from the art of being touched deeply in a place that had never been touched before.

I've had a few. Leaving time by jodi picoult, Tuesdays with morrie by mitch albom, and of course Marley and me by John grogan. There are many more but these are the three that stand out.

I started reading Lady Sings the Blues, Billie Holiday's autobiography, and in the first few pages, I learned that she was raped and thrown in jail at the age of 10! It was so sad that I couldn't even finish it! I would like to try again one day!

Push by Sapphire also made me cry. The movie "Precious" didn't do this book justice at all!

Karen Kingsbury books make me cry, they are very well written and they draw the reader in. Karen knows how to write her books to really pull at the heart strings of readers, and to pull them into her stories emotionally. There isn't a book that I have read from her that I haven't finished with a dry eye. I love how her books are not only engaging but also inspirational. They inspire you to be a better person, and can teach you some valuable life lessons. She is a brilliant author and I can't wait for her to write another book.
