I recall the book, She's Come Undone, by Wally Lamb, making me both laugh and cry.

I cryied over Left Behind by Vi Keeland and Dylan Scott. I mostly don't read sad books but this one was so good that I couldn't put it down,it was really well written. You could really feel like you were in the book as one of the characters.

I am not usually a crier when it comes to books, but any time I read something by Danielle Steel I end up bawling like a baby. There is something about her books and the stories that are completely sad every time. I use her books when I need a real good cry. Thankfully, to say that is not very often.

The first book that made me cry was "The Secret Garden" by Frances Burnett, I was around 10, maybe a bit younger, but it was so sad I had to stop reading and I've still never gotten around to finishing it. I've gotten teary eyed in a few other books but not so much that I can remember which ones, though I probably don't read particularly sad books in general.

I got emotional over A Spark of Justice by J.D. Hawkins. It's not that sort of book, but a circus mystery. The big cats in the story became secondary characters though, and it was them that got to me.

Here are the first two I think of but there are more
"Love You Forever" This children’s book is beautiful and warm and leaves you floating. I don’t know what else to say about it specifically other than “read it and see.” When you finish this book you’ll squeeze it to your chest with glistening eyes.
"The Velveteen Rabbit" This is a classic that would warm any heart. It is a touching tale of a child’s stuffed rabbit. This story has a deep eerie quality that is so sad and wonderful at the same time. You may also be in tears when you read it but you will love it all the more. Overall a heart-filled lovely little story to be cherished.

I am not ashamed to admit that many books have made me cry. More books have made me cry than people have.

There is one book that stands out in my mind: "Love Story" by Erich Segal. I know it's an older book, but I wept like a baby during the second half of that book. :-( Normally, I hate romance novels. However, this one was different from others and really pulled at my heart strings.

I don't want to say too much more and potentially give away the story!
