If I were just browsing for books, this would not be a book that I would pick up. However, after reading your review, I am extremely interested in reading this book. I'm excited to see this new spin on the immortality question posed in this book. Great review!

I think this book sounds amazing and fantastical. Honestly, reading the reviews for this and the interesting topic names on the forums is making me want to pick this up immediately and begin my immortal journey! Great job Marisa you really drew an essence here for this story :)

While I could not get into the book by reading the sample, your review made the book seem really interesting and I may yet give it a chance. Thanks for posting such a thoughtful review, it does make the decision a little easier.

Great review, sometimes i feel like nothing has been changed in world since the time begins and no one is going to be immortal but peoples around the world are only thinking about there lives not other in present time too. And we see the consequences around the world, no one is good or bad but the situation made them look good or bad.
The review and the book theme can be seen in the present scenario as well and everyone can relate it to meantime.

I think your review was great and gave insight to the plot of the book. However, this genre is just not cup of tea. I could not get into the book during the first part of the sample read.

What role does the romance play in this book? It sound more like a personal journey type of story than a romance novel. I may have misunderstood in the review.

I like my romance mushy and full of emotional scenes and big romantic gestures. Is there any of that in this book?

Great review! It made me want to read the book for sure. Going through a struggle of whether immortality is a curse or a blessing is an interesting premise.

This books sounds like a fantastic read. I love the way some authors can flawlessly combine reality and fantasy and it sounds like David Castello did exactly that.

Wow, from the first few pages of the sample read, I would have never guessed the main part of the book went into Buddhism! Thanks for the review! The sample was very well written, the author made good use of descriptive language, somewhat of a rarity in modern literature.

I like the idea of setting the story of immortality against the backdrop of world war 2. The story sounds like it references humanities quest to be immortal and how it might just be worse than the few decades we have on earth, bringing us to question whether death is really a bad thing. I like this concept. I must read this book!
