I just finished reading Saving Charles, the second in Larry Matthews series about a young man from the sixties who had the gift of healing. Saving Charles is about his life 30 years later, after the polish has worn off, and middle age sets in. It is really an interesting read, one that anyone who has ever questioned the why's in their life can identify with. I recommend this highly entertaining book.

I just finished it. Don't waste your time. It's not even erotic. I've been had!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guys and gals if you want

wont save you. I gotta say though, "E. L. James" has done something remarkable. She has written a book which
has made her millions, about a subject(kink, for lack of a better term) which she knows absolutely nothing about.

I also read 50 before the hype but after became book. It was a easy NO thinking read but so funny as a erotica. Although it highlights a life alot of people don't consider I didn't find it erotic but funny and annoying I found I wanted to read all of them even when rolling my eye's at the constant gasping and other repeated phrases. I found it more like a soapy you find ridiculous but enjoy anyway. I did pass it on to my mum recently, who really only reads a book to be in the hype, but haven't heard her review yet.

I've been reading alot of free ebooks off amazon lately, can't decide/find what book I want to read next, I do lie seeing someones thoughts, mind or imagination written down without professional editing. Even when poorly written. Some I've found pretty good stories.

I recently finished The Sun Also Rises by Hemingway (aka Papa). Although the book was recommended by many as one of Hemingway's best works, I really couldn't get into it. I honestly disliked the characters and found the entire plot to be so superficial. It can definitely be argued that this was Hemingway's purpose; he wanted to represent a generation (or culture) that was entirely lost. Still, it makes for an unpleasant read, in my opinion.

I absolutely agree, pratti. I was confused by the word "also" in the title. Apart from the sun coming up, nothing else happened!
